Description

Your nails but better! Discover the new Strong Base Skin: nine nude shades ideal for French manicures, correcting small surface imperfections like your favourite foundation and creating elegant nude looks.

Strong Base Skin is a rigid gel polish base suitable for all nail types and particularly reinforcing for fragile, thin nails. Its characteristics help prevent dips in the surface, making it ideal as a base for French manicures and for use with No Wipe Top Coat for a natural effect.

#1: warm peachy nude with medium coverage. Similar to #2, but more transparent, lighter and slightly more orange.

IMPORTANT: after applying and curing the product, file the free edge and shorten the length slightly to avoid creating a structure that is too thin at the tip. This helps maintain approximately 1 mm of thickness at the tip and reduce lifting from the free edge.

Consistency: medium consistency, almost liquid, similar to Rubber Base. It helps speed up the service and allows the nail plate to be levelled while creating the apex. It is a practical option for technicians who are starting out.

Colour: available in nine shades designed to suit different skin tones and creative looks.

Quantity: 15 ml.

Curing time: 60–90 seconds under a 48W LED lamp; if the layer is thick, cure for 2 minutes. UV lamp: 3 minutes.

Removal: remove the base with a nail drill or file. When using a nail drill, preferably use a red- or blue-band carbide bit.

Wear: designed to remain stable without lifting when applied correctly.

Application

Remove the old product.
Very carefully buff the entire surface of the nail plate with the 180 grit file or buffer. Avoid leaving shiny areas as the product will not adhere properly
Proceed with manicure at this time if necessary
Degrease nails with Cactus Cleanser or alcohol

If necessary, you can proceed with:
Apply Nail Prep Cactus, wait 30 sec for the product to completely evaporate.
If the nails are weak apply Bonder Scotch in a thin layer only on the free edge, from the smile line towards the tip. Wait 1 minute for it to dry completely.
Apply STEP ONE base coat in a thin layer, massaging the nail while avoiding touching the skin. Take care to cover the entire nail surface well. Cure.
Apply STRONG BASE in a thin layer making the gliding layer, then apply a drop of product and with the Cactus Brush No. 0/7 level the surface creating the convexity. Cure.
Proceed directly with Top Coat NO WIPE or cover first with Cactus Gel Polish and then apply Top Coat NO WIPE.

ATTENTION: the base is rigid, do not leave the tip too thin at the end of the treatment. The thickness of the product, at the tip, must be 1 mm: to get it pass with the file in front of the free edge by slightly shortening the length.
