We are Cristina And Save, a young Moldovan couple who transformed their passion for the world of nails into their profession.
It all started when, during my fourth year of nursing studies, I listened to my heart and I started a course to become a nail technician. Meanwhile, Sava was pursuing his promising career as a managing director for a large branch store.
The beginnings
In July 2018, respectively 20 And 22 years old, we made a bold choice: we moved to Italy. Here I started working as a nail technician in various salons, increasingly honing my skills.
In 2020 I opened my VAT number, throwing myself - with a good dose of courage - into the entrepreneurial world.
In the meantime, I decided to open aInstagram account to share my passion; in a few months, I noticed a growing interest in my content and, above all, more and more people were asking me advice.
The idea
One day, during dinner, I told my husband about how many girls asked me for advice on where to find quality products And professional tools.
Without hesitation, Sava launched his idea: open an online store where you can find the best products for nail technicians, checked and tested by us.
At first I thought it was too complicated, but Sava immediately committed himself to the project: he tried reliable suppliers, showing me the products he found and asking me for professional opinions.
I soon realized that our dream was taking shape and that we were getting closer and closer to make it come true.
Our reality
In December 2021, we have online shop open with our old name, Cactus Nail.
Our dedication has pushed us in a short time to create our own Cactus branded product line, launched a year later.
Over the years, we have faced numerous challenges And changesWe moved four times, alternating between Brescia and Riva del Garda and then settling in Milan, where we still live today.
These moves were a real logistical challenge, but they also led to many new growth opportunities for our company.
