The Smart Forms by Cactus are an alternative to the classic Nail Forms, which allows you to create the skeleton right away of the nail to be reconstructed.

Thanks to Smart Forms you can create any form of the skeleton and then continue with the curvature in the classic technique.

The Smart Form Cactus are transparent, with guidelines specially designed to facilitate the application of the product inside, immediately achieving the desired shape.

They were designed to be very flexible but at the same time resistant, feature that allows you to save time when choosing the size.

Unlike Smart Forms, these tips can be used on any type of nail plate, regardless of curvature.

To choose the right Smart for each finger, you need to place the tip on the nail and make sure that match the growth points perfectly on the sides of the nail plate. The Smart should "hug" the nail, without applying pressure, perfectly covering the entire surface.

SMART FORM APPLICATION

• Remove any old product.
• To make opaque very carefully the entire surface of the nail plate with the 180 grit file or buffer. Avoid leaving shiny areas because the product will not adhere properly.
• Clean and degrease nails with Nail Prep Cactus, wait 30 seconds for the product to evaporate completely.
• Apply Bonder Scotch Apply a thin layer, massaging it into the entire nail plate. Wait 1 minute for it to air dry completely.
• Apply base Step One Apply a thin layer, massaging the nail while avoiding touching the skin. Be careful to cover the entire nail surface thoroughly. Cure. (Be careful because if the base coat doesn't cover the nail plate well, the gel may not adhere properly.)
• Choosing the right one Smart Form measurement for each finger (see description)
• Apply the chosen product (gel or acrylic gel) in the Smart, immediately creating the desired shape. In the case, especially - but not only - of self-leveling Gel such as the Mousse or the Sorbetto, particular attention must be paid to the thickness of the sides, so as not to leave them too thin.
• Blend the product into the part that will adhere to the nail, so that towards the end the quantity is practically zero.
• Maintaining an inclination of 45°, place the Smart Form in the “ areastress point” which is located approximately halfway along the nail bed.
• Once you are sure that the Smart Form is straight, lower and reduce the inclination while maintaining pressure at the stress point, until the sides of the Smart are parallel to the finger (it must not go up or down, as this would risk creating an incorrect shape which could then lead to cracks and breakages)
• Use the UV bulb placing it just near the cuticle line and polymerizing for 10 seconds.
• Turn your finger over and remove any excess product or smooth it out with a brush.
• Once the structure is leveled, polymerizes in the lamp for 1 minute. If you wish, to pinch the shape by placing the clamp over the Smart, after 15 seconds of polymerization.
• Remove the Smart by applying light pressure with your fingers on both sides, starting from the growth points and working your way towards the tip.
• Give the desired shape with the file, pass the cutter along the lower part of the nail to remove excess product and finish any steps, if present, with the Carbide finishing tip “Blue Finish d0215”.
• Create the curvature with the desired product. In case of long nails (free edge longer than the nail bed) it is recommended to Sorbetto Gel or the Gel Mousse, both suitable for the filing-free technique. If your nails are shorter, you can use, in addition to the gels mentioned above, the Hard base which guarantees resistance.
• Apply color in two thin coats, if desired, and then seal with the Top Coat Reflex no Wipe.
