Description
Acid-free primer that helps improve adhesion between Step One Base and the natural nail.
It helps stabilise the pH of the nail plate and creates an ultra-thin, tacky layer, similar to double-sided tape.
This innovative formula replaces Scotch, the previous prep product, which we decided to replace because of its thicker consistency. Nail Bonder has a liquid consistency, very similar to Nail Prep, and does not add thickness to the nail surface.
It is not always necessary to use it, as our product range is designed to perform well even without prep products. However, working without them requires solid experience.
The nail must be thoroughly buffed and carefully cleansed with Cleaner or pure alcohol.
Then apply Step One Clear Base, working it well into the nail with an oval brush and covering the entire nail plate evenly with a polish-style layer.
Prep products themselves do not guarantee product adhesion, but we know they are still regularly used. For this reason, we developed a gentle formula that does not damage the nails.
The primer acts like double-sided tape, improving adhesion even on difficult nails.
Just like tape, it adheres closely to the nail plate and becomes tacky as it air-dries, helping the base applied over it to adhere.
Caution: apply the product in a single thin coat to avoid pooling, which could cause lifting.
Consistency: liquid. Once air-dried, it remains glossy and tacky.
Drying: air-dries completely in 1 minute.
Colour: clear.
