    Description

    For transparency, we would like to clarify a detail that may initially be misleading: if you read the ingredients in the new line, you will see “Bis-HEMA”. We want to reassure you: this substance is unrelated to HEMA. More precisely, the products contain a polymer called “Bis-HEMA poly (1,4-butanediol)-9/IPDI copolymer”. This polymer is made up of different monomers and has a different molecular structure from the HEMA monomer, even though both names contain the word “HEMA”. Chemically, they are two separate substances with different chemical properties. By way of comparison, consider sodium chloride and mercury chloride: both contain the word “chloride”, but the first is ordinary table salt, whereas the second is toxic. Similarly, despite the word “HEMA”, “Bis-HEMA poly (1,4-butanediol)-9/IPDI copolymer” is chemically distinct from the HEMA monomer and has different characteristics that are entirely harmless to nails. The Fiber Base contains glass fibres and is enriched with vitamins that strengthen and protect the nail. It is suitable for all nail types. The VITAMINS are listed among the ingredients. This base is ideal for French manicures and helps correct minor surface imperfections.

    Consistency: Medium consistency. It makes application easier and faster by allowing you to level the nail plate and build the apex.

    Colour: Available in 4 highly pigmented shades that provide good coverage of nail imperfections.

    Size: 15 ml.

    Curing time: 30–60 seconds under a 48W LED lamp; if the layer is thick, cure for 2 minutes. UV lamp: 2–3 minutes.

    Removal: We recommend removal with a nail drill, preferably using a red-band carbide bit.

    Application

    • Remove the existing product.
    • Carefully mattify the entire nail plate with a 180-grit file or buffer. Avoid leaving any shiny areas, as these would prevent the product from adhering properly.
    • If you are performing a manicure, do so at this stage.
    • Degrease the nails with cleanser or alcohol.
    If needed, continue with the following steps:
    • Apply CACTUS NAIL PREP, then wait 30 seconds for the product to evaporate completely.
    • For weak nails, apply SCOTCH BONDER in a thin layer only on the free edge, from the smile line towards the tip. Wait 1 minute for it to dry completely.
    • Apply STEP ONE Base in a thin layer, working it into the nail without touching the skin. Make sure to cover the entire nail surface thoroughly. Cure.
    • Apply Fiber Base with Vitamins  in a thin slip layer, then place a bead of product on the nail and use the CACTUS No. 07 BRUSH to level the surface and build the apex.
    • Finish directly with TOP NO WIPE, or apply CACTUS GEL POLISH followed by TOP NO WIPE.
