    Description

    Flexible rubber gel polish base suitable for all nail types. Ideal as a base for French manicures or, when finished directly with TOP NO WIPE, for a natural look. On particularly sensitive and fragile nails it may produce a slight heat sensation. To reduce this sensation, lower the lamp power by half and remove the hand from the lamp until the heat subsides, then continue with the recommended curing time.

    Rubber Base is safe for nails and skin because it is:

    7-free: Free from harmful substances such as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, toluene, DBP, ethyl tosylamide and xylene.

    HEMA-free: HEMA is an ingredient that helps gel polish adhere. It is not harmful or dangerous, but it can cause allergies.

    Cruelty-free and vegan: Our products have not been tested on animals and do not contain ingredients of animal origin. Let’s take care of our planet together.

    Consistency: Medium-fluid consistency. It makes application easier and faster by allowing you to level the nail plate and build the apex. More fluid than Strong, Fiber and Hard bases.

    Colour: Available in 4 shades: Nude, Caramel, Soft Pink and Milk, designed to provide good coverage of nail-plate imperfections.

    Size: 15 ml.

    Curing time: 30–60 seconds under a 48W LED lamp; if the layer is thick, cure for 2 minutes. UV lamp: 2–3 minutes.

    Removal: This is a soak-off base. When applied in a thin layer, it can also be removed with remover. For a thicker structured gel polish application with an apex, we recommend removal with a nail drill, preferably using a red-band carbide bit.

    Collection: Rubber Bases

    Application

    • Remove the old product with a nail drill or file.
    • Carefully buff the entire surface of the nail plate with a 180-grit file or buffer. Avoid leaving shiny areas, as the product will not adhere correctly.
    • Remove dust from the nail with a manicure brush.
    • If a manicure is required, perform it at this stage of the service.
    • Cleanse and degrease the nails with cleaner or alcohol.
    If necessary, you can then proceed with:
    • Apply Nail Prep Cactus, then wait 30 seconds for the product to evaporate completely.
    • Apply Scotch Acid-Free Primer in a thin layer. Wait 1 minute for it to air-dry completely.
    • Apply Step One Base in a thin layer, massaging it into the nail while avoiding the skin. Make sure the entire nail surface is covered. Cure.
    • Apply CACTUS RUBBER BASE in a thin gliding layer, then place a drop of product in the centre of the nail and level the surface with a No. 0/7 brush.
    • If the application is not precise, file the surface. After filing, remove the dust and degrease with cleaner or alcohol.
    • Proceed with CACTUS GEL POLISH and finish with TOP NO WIPE.
    • For a coloured RUBBER BASE, if you want to keep the base shade visible, proceed directly with TOP NO WIPE or TOP COVER.

    At the end of the service, do not leave the tip too thin. File across the free edge, slightly shortening the length, so that the product is 1 mm thick at the tip.
