    Descrizione

    A very rigid base (more rigid than Strong Base) designed to provide longer-lasting wear. Its properties are similar to a gel, so it can be used for quick gel infills or to reinforce weak, thin nails. Its thicker-than-usual consistency does not run and gives you enough time to level the surface, helping speed up salon infill services.

    Hard Base is safe for nails and skin because it is:

    7-free: Free from harmful substances such as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, toluene, DBP, ethyl tosylamide and xylene.

    HEMA-free: HEMA is an ingredient that helps gel polish adhere. It is not harmful or dangerous, but it can cause allergies. This is why we offer HEMA-free products.

    Cruelty-free and vegan: Our products have not been tested on animals and contain no animal-derived ingredients. Let’s care for our planet together.

    Consistency: Its thick consistency allows it to self-level during application, making the process faster and easier without filing.

    • Self-levels evenly to create the correct apex.
    • Very stable and does not run.

    Colour: Available in Clear (transparent) and six other shades: Toffy, French Pink, Skin, Latte, Cream and Ivory. The highly pigmented shades help cover imperfections in the nail plate.

    Size: 15ml

    Curing time: 90 seconds under a 48W LED lamp; 3–4 minutes under a UV lamp.

    Removal: Remove the base with a nail drill or a nail file. For nail-drill removal, use a carbide or ceramic bit, preferably with a red or blue grit band.

    Wear:

    • Long-lasting wear without lifting or cracking.
    • Suitable for nail enhancements and short extensions using nail forms.
    • Requires STEP ONE CLEAR Base as the first step.
    • Thanks to its high pigmentation, it can be covered with gel polish or left in its natural shade.

    Applicazione

    • Remove the existing product with a nail drill or nail file.
    • Carefully mattify the entire nail plate with a 180-grit file or buffer. Avoid leaving any shiny areas, as these would prevent the product from adhering properly.
    • Remove dust from the nail with a brush.
    • If you are performing a manicure, do so at this stage.
    • Degrease the nails with cleanser or alcohol.
    If needed, continue with the following steps:
    • Apply Nail Prep Cactus, then wait 30 seconds for the product to evaporate completely.
    • Apply Scotch Acid-Free Primer in a thin layer. Wait 1 minute for it to dry completely.
    • Apply Step One Base in a thin layer, working it into the nail while avoiding contact with the skin. Make sure you cover the entire nail surface thoroughly. Cure.
    • Apply a thin slip layer of CACTUS HARD BASE, then place a bead of product in the centre of the nail and use a BRUSH No. 0/7 to level the surface.
    • If the application is uneven, you can file the surface. After filing, remove the dust and degrease with cleanser or alcohol.
    • Continue with GEL POLISH CACTUS and finish with TOP NO WIPE.
    • If using a COLOURED HARD BASE and you want to keep the base colour, finish directly with TOP NO WIPE or TOP COVER.

    At the end of the treatment, do not leave the tip too thin. File across the free edge to shorten the nail slightly and increase the product thickness at the tip to 1 mm.
