Acid-free primer that promotes adhesion between the Step One base and the natural nail.
It serves to stabilize the pH of the nail plate and creates a very light and sticky layer, similar to double-sided tape.
This innovative formula replaces the Scotch preparer, which we decided to replace due to its thicker consistency. The Nail Bonder, on the other hand, has a liquid consistency, very similar to that of Nail Prep, and does not create thickness on the surface of the nail.
Its use is not always necessary, as our product line is designed to perform well even without the use of preparers. However, a good level of experience is required to forgo their use.
The nail should be properly matted and carefully degreased using Cleaner or pure alcohol.
Next, apply the Step One Clear base, massaging it well onto the nail with an oval brush and precisely covering the entire nail plate with a layer of polish.
It is not the primers that guarantee product adhesion, but we know they are still regularly used. For this reason, we have developed a gentle formula that does not damage the nails.
The primer acts like a true double-sided adhesive, improving adherence even on difficult nails.
Just like tape, it adheres perfectly to the nail plate and, drying in the air, becomes sticky, facilitating the adhesion of the base that will be applied on top.
Attention: apply the product in a single thin layer to avoid pooling that could cause lifting.
