Let us introduce ourselves
We are Cristina and Sava, a young Moldovan couple who have turned their passion for the world of nails into their profession.
It all started when, during my fourth year of nursing studies, I listened to my heart and started a course to become a nail technician. In the meantime, Sava was advancing his promising career as a CEO for a large branch store.
The beginnings
In July 2018, at the ages of 20 and 22 respectively, we made a bold choice: we moved to Italy. Here I started working as a nail technician in various salons, continuously honing my skills. In 2020, I opened my VAT number, diving - with a good dose of courage - into the entrepreneurial world. In the meantime, I decided to open an Instagram account to share my passion; within a few months, I noticed a growing interest in my content and, above all, more and more people were asking me for advice.
The idea
One day, during dinner, I told my husband how many girls would ask me for advice on where to find quality products and professional tools.
Without hesitation, Sava launched his idea: to open an online store where the best products for nail technology could be found, checked and tested by us.
At first, I thought it was too complicated, but Sava committed to the project right away: he searched for reliable suppliers, showing me the products he found and asking for my professional opinions.
Soon I realized that our dream was taking shape and that we were getting closer to turning it into reality.
Our reality
In December 2021, we opened the online shop under our old name, Cactus Nail.
Our dedication quickly drove us to create our product line branded Cactus, launched a year later.
Over the years, we have faced numerous challenges and changes. We moved four times, alternating between Brescia and Riva del Garda before settling in Milan, where we still live.
These relocations have been a real logistical challenge, but they have also led to many new growth opportunities for our company.
