The Gel Tips should be applied exclusively on the nail plate, with a maximum free edge of 2 mm to facilitate attachment.

• After removing any residual product, shorten the free edge. Matt the plate with a 180 grit file and then the cuticle area with the drill (using a red flame bit of any diameter) but without going too deep as the manicure will be performed later. Ensure that the entire nail surface is matted.
• Dust and degrease with the cleanser twice, ensuring that the plate is completely clean and dehydrated.
• If you wish to apply the primers, you must follow these steps: apply the Nail Prep Cactus, allowing it to air dry for 30 seconds.Once the drying is complete, apply a tiny drop of Acid-Free Scotch Primer on the nail plate and massage the product with a gel brush over the entire nail plate, avoiding contact with the skin. Wait 1 minute for air drying. If you do not intend to apply the preparers, proceed directly to the next step.
• Apply the Base Step One in two phases: first, spread a small amount of product by massaging it with a brush. Immediately after, apply a coat like nail polish. Once these steps are completed, cure for 1 minute in a UV/LED lamp.
• Select the Gel Tips that best fit the nail plate, placing the tip on the natural nail. 

Attention, do not choose the tip as if it were a dual form: dual forms, unlike Gel Tips, need space in the side areas to ensure the correct thickness of the gel once removed.The Gel Tips, on the other hand, will not be removed, so they must be chosen based on the size and shape of the nail plate. If there is a lot of free space in the lateral area, between the tip and the nail, at the moment of attachment the tip will drop too much due to pressure and will go beyond the nail plate, resulting in being too large.

• Once the tip is chosen, it needs to be prepared:
  • Thin out the cuticle edge to avoid the formation of a large visible step that would then need to be filed with the drill.
  • Matte the inside of the tip with a buffer of any grit or with a diamond drill bit.
  • Degrease the inside with the cleanser. After this step, the tip may turn white.
• If you are using the Hard Cactus Base to attach the tip, it is important to first apply the Step One Base inside in a thin layer and cure it under a UV/LED lamp for 1 minute. This step is essential because the Hard Cactus Base is a rigid base, not an adhesion base. The Step One Base, on the other hand, is an adhesion base that allows the tip to adhere perfectly to the Hard Base.
• Apply the Hard Base in a thin sliding layer and then apply a drop. Position the gel tip at a 45-degree angle and lower it until it becomes parallel with the finger, ensuring that it is straight and has covered the sides. Hold it for 15-20 seconds with a mini-lamp.

If you are not using the Hard Cactus Base, you can use either the Step One Base or the Universal Base in both steps, both of which are adhesion bases that allow for perfect adherence of the tip.

• Complete the polymerization in a UV/LED lamp for 1 minute.                    
• Refine the step of the tip in the cuticle area, even if not very noticeable, using a finishing bit and/or a flame bit.
• Apply a layer of Base Step One near the cuticle area to encapsulate the tip with the natural nail, making sure to apply the product beyond the edge of the tip. Polymerize. This step helps to avoid lifting in the cuticle area.
• Continue with the complete manicure, applying color and Top Coat.

With this technique, you will achieve a structure that is already ready and very durable. It will not be necessary to shape any curvature on the surface of the tip with additional gel.
