This Step One Base is applied as the first layer to maximise adhesion and wear for gel polish, gel or acrygel systems. It is used as the first step after applying prep products, if you choose to use them, in any treatment. It is also ideal for classic gel polish services thanks to its consistency, which is easy to apply and level even in a thin coat.
This product is safe for nails and skin because it is:
7-free:
Free from substances such as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, toluene, DBP, ethyl tosylamide and xylene.
HEMA-free:
HEMA is an ingredient that helps gel polish adhere. It is not harmful or dangerous, but it can cause allergies. This is why we offer HEMA-free products.
Cruelty-free and vegan:
Our products have not been tested on animals and do not contain ingredients of animal origin. Let’s take care of our planet together.
Size:
15 ml.
Application and consistency:
The base has a liquid consistency that is very easy to apply and can also be used to create a small apex.
Curing time:
60 seconds under an LED lamp, 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
Removal:
It can be removed with a nail drill or remover. When using a nail drill, we recommend a red-band carbide bit. For less experienced users, we recommend a yellow-band bit. When using remover, the soaking time is 5–10 minutes, depending on the type of gel remover and the amount of colour product previously applied.
Wear:
Thanks to its formula, it adheres closely to the nail plate and provides at least 3 weeks of wear. At the same time, it protects, strengthens and evens out the natural nail.
