Dear Cactus Community,

A year ago, when we launched our first Dual Forms, we didn't expect such a huge success. They sold out in no time—and of all of them, the Ballerina shape was the one you loved the most. That's precisely why we chose to start by redesigning the Ballerina, and gradually, all of them will be updated.

Over the past few months, as I've become more familiar with Dual Forms, I've truly realized what I could improve—in fact, you've helped me understand this, thanks to your constructive criticism. So, since we haven't found what we wanted on the market, we decided to create it ourselves.

And today we're finally ready to tell you everything that makes our and your new Dual Forms truly special.

What changes in the new Dual Forms?

Anyone who knows me knows how much of a perfectionist I am (almost too much). And this time is no exception: these new Dual Forms are months of work, testing, modifications, molds remade from scratch (more than once!), and a significant investment.

But let's go back to the beginning: we started with what was most requested by the community, the Ballerina shape, which was the best-selling ever, and we improved everything we weren't convinced by. So we created a Dual designed for any nail type, with which you can create almost any shape, making it universal. Here are the most significant new features:

Repositioned apex. We've worked on the apex's position, which now better adapts to both small, short nail beds and larger, longer ones. Previously, the apex was positioned almost at the smile line, which meant adding product after removing the Dual to refine the ridge—something that's no longer necessary. So, time saved.

15 different sizes. No longer 10 (as in the Dual Form Natural Ballerina) or 12 (as in the previous Dual Form Arched Ballerina), but 15 different sizes, to adapt to every type and size of nail.

More harmonious cuticle contour. Compared to the previous Dual Form, this new version's cuticle contour is less square. Anatomically, nails have a more rounded cuticle contour: for this reason, we chose to modify it and make it more oval, so it can adapt to any type of nail bed without having to trim it to size.

Large, clearly visible numbers. On each Dual, the size number is printed large and clearly visible, along with the Cactus signature, to quickly choose the right size.

Central guide line. For precise and symmetrical application, each Dual is engraved with a line that divides it symmetrically in half, matching the line you typically draw on your finger for straight application. Additionally, each Dual features internal guide lines that help you apply the product precisely and instantly achieve the desired shape—whether round or square.

Much thinner thickness at the cuticle edge. The cuticle edge is even thinner than the previous version, while from the middle to the tip the thickness increases to avoid compromising the shape. Thanks to this thinness, the Dual fits perfectly: so the product (gel or acrylic gel) does not leak because the Dual hugs the cuticle edge well and adapts to the natural curvature of the nail.

The right curve. The new Dual Form Ballerina Arcuata by Cactus adapts to any type of nail bed, thanks to a 50% curvature, ideal for nails with a very pronounced "C" curve but also for flat nails if the Dual Form is pressed down. Because the dorsal curve slopes downward and doesn't remain parallel to the lateral curves, the shape is more natural and harmonious than that obtained with other Dual Forms, designed for balance points.

New packaging for a new experience. Aesthetics matter, too. And as always, we want your workstation to be as meticulously designed as your work. That's why we've also designed new packaging: elegant, unique, and in true Cactus style.

The Dual Form Cactus are back, and this time, they're just how we wanted them. We promise, once you try them, you'll feel the difference. And as always... we can't wait to see what you create with them!
