Description

THIXOTROPIC gel that, thanks to its very high density, is suitable for salon nail extensions and the French wall technique. Ideal for those who prefer gels that remain in place until shaped with a brush.

What does THIXOTROPIC gel mean? A very dense gel that becomes easier to shape thanks to movement during application and the warmth of the hand. It is not self-levelling.

Consistency:

High density, making it practical for building the nail bed for the French wall technique and suitable for small nail repairs. Does not run.
Very stable, allowing several nails to be worked on at the same time.
Suitable for extreme lengths.
Easy to file.

Colour: Highly pigmented, providing good coverage of nail imperfections.

Quantity: Available in 50 g.

Curing time: 90–120 seconds under a 48W LED lamp; 3–4 minutes under a UV lamp. A heat sensation may occur during curing. If this happens, remove the hand from the lamp whenever discomfort appears and reduce the lamp power.

Removal: Remove with a nail drill or file. For nail-drill removal, use a blue- or green-band bit. Easy to file.

Wear:

Ideal for nail extensions, gel refills, gel overlays and small repairs to the free edge.
After application, it can be covered with gel polish colour or gel colour, or left in its natural shade thanks to its high pigmentation.
Impact-resistant for reliable wear and reduced risk of breakage in stress areas.
A base coat must be applied before Soufflé Gel.

Application

Remove the old product.
Carefully buff the entire surface of the nail plate with a 180-grit file or buffer. Avoid leaving shiny areas, as the product will not adhere correctly.
Clean and degrease the nails with cleaner or alcohol.
Apply Nail Prep Cactus 10 ml, then wait 30 seconds for the product to evaporate completely.
Apply Scotch Acid-Free Primer with Vitamins 10 ml in a thin layer. Wait 1 minute for it to dry completely.
Apply Step One Base in a thin layer, massaging it into the nail while avoiding the skin. Make sure the entire nail surface is covered. Cure.

If the nail plate is not fully covered with the base, the gel may not adhere correctly. Take care.

Apply Soufflé Gel with a Cactus brush suitable for gel, placing a drop of product in the centre of the nail in the stress area to form the apex or the wall structure.
File the surface. After filing, remove the dust and degrease the nail.
Proceed with the French wall structure, or cover with CACTUS GEL POLISH and then Top Coat Reflex No Wipe.
