Nail Prep Products and Liquids
Nail Prep Products and Liquids
Nail preparation is the first step towards a long-lasting, precise manicure. This essential stage ensures the nails are ready for gel polish, gel or acrygel, improving adhesion and helping extend wear.
The Cactus For You nail prep range includes primers, cleanser and cuticle removers designed for different professional needs.
Product features
Each product is designed to perform a specific function during nail preparation.
- Nail prep products: gently dehydrate the nail plate to improve the adhesion of subsequent products. Bonder creates a sticky layer for extra adhesion.
- Cleanser and Acrygel Solution: a technical solution used to remove the inhibition layer and to shape acrygel. It does not replace Nail Prep or Bonder.
- Cuticle Remover: softens the cuticles to make removal easier.
Benefits of nail prep products
- Improved adhesion: help improve the adhesion of products applied afterwards and reduce lifting.
- Effective preparation: help ensure the nails are clean and ready for gel polish or gel.
- Longer wear: good preparation helps extend the durability of the manicure.
Types of nail prep products and liquids
Here are the main types of nail prep products and liquids used in a professional manicure:
- Nail Prep: an alcohol- and acetone-based prep product that dehydrates the nail and removes oils and impurities to improve the adhesion of subsequent products.
- Nail Bonder 10 ml: ideal for normal or sensitive nails, providing effective but gentle adhesion.
- Acid Primer: intended for oily or particularly difficult nails and designed to dehydrate deeply for stronger adhesion. For professional use only.
- Cleanser and Acrygel Solution: removes the inhibition layer after curing and helps shape acrygel. It is not a dehydrator and does not replace Nail Prep or Bonder.
- Cuticle Remover: softens cuticles for easier, more accurate removal.
How to use nail prep products
- Cleaning: remove previously applied product and mattify the nail plate. Remove dust residue.
- Cuticle Remover: apply the remover, leave it to work for a few minutes, then trim the cuticles with manicure scissors and complete the manicure.
- Nail Prep: apply Nail Prep to the prepared nail plate when required by the protocol and allow it to air-dry completely. Do not replace it with Cleanser.
- Nail Bonder or Acid Primer: choose the adhesion promoter according to the type of nail and professional protocol. Apply a small amount while avoiding the skin and cuticles, then allow it to air-dry.
